Solution: |

|
Extend capabilities in the geometry resource. Replacement of the
presentation resource (which is aligned to VRML) by a presentation
resource, based on ISO 10303-46 (STEP presentation structures)
Relationship to external standard developments The proposal aims at using the appropriate conformance class of ISO/STEP 10303-202 and 10303-214 as the source definitions for defining the IFC drafting extension. This should enable a basic conformance with ongoing national developments for 2D drafting exchange, like KOSDIC, SCADEC and CDS.The resulting IFC drafting model should be harmonized with ISO/STEP 10303-202, by retaining the current IFC2x architecture and object model. Harmonization should enable the ability to exchange information with KOSDIC, SCADEC and CDS aware application, possibly by using additional toolbox or mapping capabilities. |
