Specifications

The main task of MSG is to support and lead the development, maintenance and implementation of the IFC specification. Each IFC specification includes

• the IFC Specification as a set of html documentations
• the IFC EXPRESS long form schema
• the ifcXML XSD schema
• the property set content distributed using the psdXML structure
  

In addition MSG supports and overlooks the correspondence between the IFC specification and related deliverables of the IAI, including:

• the Information Delivery Manual, IDM
• the International Framework for Dictionaries, IFD
• the Model View Definitions, MVD
• the IFC Implementation Agreements
• the IFC Certification Process
