Tim Chipman
As a member of the buildingSMART Model Support Group, Tim had taken a supporting role in reviewing IFC schemas which are relevent to building services and now joins the sub-group working on continuous improvement of the building service part of the IFC schema. This includes:

- cabling (particularly communications and audio-visual)

- Co-founder of Premise Systems, building automation software (1998-2002)
- Chief Software Architect of Lantronix, embedded operating systems (2002-2005)
- Distinguished Engineer at Motorola, networks and consumer electronics (2005-2008)
