Stefan Richter - summary

As member of the buildingSMART Model Support Group, Stefan is responsible for maintenance of IFC schemas which are relevant to structural engineering. This includes:

• structural analytical model definitions
• structural loads definitions
• structural model components (physical member definitions)
• profiles and structural profile definitions
• detailing of structural members and connections
  

He also works with the buildingSMART Structural Engineering Domain group to support IFC implementation in structural design applications. He supports the definition of the "Structural Analysis View" (MVD) for the IFC based interoperability between structural modeling applications exporting a structural analysis model and structural analysis packages.
